name Cache came from
the French verb cacher,
"to hide," because
early trappers in
Cache Valley hid their
pelts and supplies
for safekeeping. Cache
County is located
in northern Utah.
It is bordered by
Rich County on the
east, Weber County
on the south, Box
Elder County on the
west, and the state
of Idaho on the north.
